A 1 million euro pilot development programme is being launched by FOODITY to develop six data-driven solutions that will spur innovation in food and nutrition while returning control of the use of personal data to the people.

Through instruction and mentoring, the chosen FOODITY innovators will gain knowledge of this data architecture’s right application as well as expand their comprehension of other technological subjects, including the ethics of data management.

Since end-users must be involved in pilots from the beginning to the end, the training will also include techniques for citizen participation. The focus of mentoring help, particularly in the second phase, will be on business issues, from product development to innovation strategy. In order to ensure TRL advancement, pilots can also ask for assistance in particular areas.
