Background

  • The United Nations General Assembly has declared 2026 because the International Year of the Woman Farmer (IYWF).
  • The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will lead its implementation in collaboration with governments, UN entities, civil society, academia, improvement companions, and the non-public sector.

Programme Structure

1. Explore

3. Experience

  • Jun – Oct 2026: Project implementation part.
  • Oct 2026: WFF flagship occasion showcasing outcomes.
