Applications are currently being accepted for the GTF Telemachus and Athena Mentoring Programmes. The mentoring initiatives “Telemachus” and “Athena” match mentees with thought leaders and other people concerned in having a positive social impact. Telemachus assists young people from all over the world who are between the ages of 18 and 29, whereas Athena focuses on women over the age of 22 and without placing an upper age restriction.

To meet their specific learning needs, GTF mentees are provided with a tailored learning opportunity. Over the period of eight months, they may use this opportunity to expand, deepen, and widen their professional and personal perspectives while also learning new things. As part of this process, their mentees set their own goals, which they successfully achieve with the assistance of their mentors. The programmes aid in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.

eligibility

  • A young person between the ages of 18 and 29 may apply for “Telemachus.”Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or at least five years of related relevant professional experience who also speak English fluently will receive preference.

If you are selected to be a mentor’s mentee, you should be aware of the following:

  • You should go into this relationship with an open mind.You have to be sincere.
  • Your relationship with your mentor and any information you exchange together must remain private.
  • Always be on time and respectful of your mentor’s time.
  • Avoid defending yourself when you receive criticism.The advice you receive will be meant to assist you in honing your skills and widen your mind to new concepts and points of view.
  • It is not a degree, a certification, or a certificate in any form.
  • Your mentor is voluntarily lending you their time and wisdom.
  • The programme aims to promote a sense of social responsibility and social influence.

  • Passport or ID photocopy
