WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Award 2023
Since the year 2000, the WIN WIN Award has drawn attention to extraordinary achievements made all across the world. The award’s objectives include encouraging creativity and long-term synergies in addition to recognizing significant sustainability efforts. With the ultimate goal of advancing humans, the environment, and our common future.
The WIN WIN Youth Award, which was established in 2018. Is a global honor that strives to inspire and recognize young people who take an active part in building a more sustainable future.
Theme
A yearly award theme that is relevant to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and is chosen by an impartial panel. Initiatives in social, economic, and environmental sustainability are recognized with this prize.
Fighting disinformation is the focus for 2023, and previous themes have included, among others, Biodiversity (2020), Sustainable Aquaculture (2022), Anti-Corruption (2021), Sustainable Food (2019), Industrial Symbiosis (2018), and Sustainable Design (2017).

Awards
At the WIN WIN Award ceremony in Gothenburg, Sweden, the winner receives a 1 million SEK prize.
At the WIN WIN Award ceremony in Gothenburg, Sweden, the winner of the WIN WIN Youth Award receives a check for 50.000 SEK.
Eligibility
- Actors who have made a difference and demonstrated what is required to combat misinformation are candidates for the WIN WIN Award.
- Young actors between the ages of 13 and 29 who have taken significant steps to combat misinformation are eligible for the WIN WIN Youth Award.
- Nomination
The deadline for nominations for the 2023 Awards is January 15, 2023. Nominations made after the deadline won’t be taken.
