The Mwalimu Nyerere Pan-African Young African Leaders Fellowship Programme is a youth leadership fellowship program that aims to develop all of Africa’s young people into responsible, committed, transformative, and peace-loving Pan-African leaders. Furthermore, to introduce young African leaders to Mwalimu Julius Nyerere’s leadership philosophy, style, and practices that support peace, unity, and development that people-centered in order to develop them into capable and effective current and future leaders of the continent.
The people must be involved for real progress to occur. In light of this, Africa continues to be the planet’s youngest continent, with more than 65% of its current population under the age of 35. In this regard, the Mwalimu Nyerere Pan-African Young Leaders Fellowship Programme aims to capitalize on this substantial demographic dividend by bringing together youth from all over the continent for an extensive and demanding leadership and mentorship fellowship programme. The fellowship program’s specific goal aims to train, mentor, nurture, and transform youth so they well-prepared for their respective current and future leadership callings.
- Beneficiaries from this fellowship program are young men and women from all parts of Africa who have leadership aspirations to transform Africa.
- This is an equal opportunity for all current and future young leaders of Africa
