Eligibility
- Entrance into the tournament is free and open to all nationalities except RODE employees and citizens of North Korea, Iran, Iraq, UAE, Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
- Short films in all languages are welcome and include subtitles to ease adjudication.
- There aren’t strict tight content restrictions but if your short film is considered too graphic and inappropriate, it may be rejected.
- All entries must have a RODE product to be used during production and must be clearly shown in the behind the scenes video. This can be any RODE accessory like a microphone.
Application
- A 3-minute short film is required on any chosen topic
- A behind-the-scenes video to show the production process and must be a maximum of 3 minutes showing the RODE products used.
- Sign up for a My RODE Reel account and register your details.
- Submit your short film and if approved, it will appear on the Watch page.
- Share your film and ensure your friends and family vote since there is a People’s Choice award to be won based on the most votes.
