Applications are open for the JICE Professionals’ Japan Visit Program for Co-creation 2026. Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) is happy to announce that, as part of the “Japan-Africa Youth Program”—a global trade initiative promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan—they’re organizing and implementing a Professionals’ Japan Visit Program for Co-creation (Animation Production) focusing on African anime creators.

Japan-Africa Youth Program is a global trade initiative geared toward deepening mutual understanding between younger folks from each Japan and Africa by means of commentary and cultural trade. As part of this Inbound program, individuals are anticipated to achieve recent views by experiencing Japan’s superior expertise, wealthy tradition, and various social programs. The program seeks to empower them to develop as leaders contributing to Africa’s future growth and as people who, along with Japanese youth, will strengthen ties and co-create a sustainable future for each areas.

A part of this Japan-Africa Youth Program is destinated to twenty younger professionals within the animation business from Africa. It presents OPPORTUNITY to find anime manufacturing websites or anime-associated business and academic establishments, aiming to encourage them and to foster connections between these professionals from Africa and Japanese firms. It gives individuals with alternatives to deepen their understanding of Japanese values, mindset, and cultural heritage. 

Costs

• Participation in this system and journey bills are freed from cost.

Note: Participants are accountable for private bills, together with transportation between your home and the airport and passport issuance charges.

Eligibility

• Open to African anime creators.
• They are at the moment calling for purposes from firms and organizations (as much as 10 firms in complete). Please word that the utmost variety of individuals per firm is 2 (one firm government who will act as the choice-maker and one artistic skilled).
