Applications at the moment are open for the 2027 World Trade Organization (WTO) Young Professionals Programme. The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a singular alternative for certified younger professionals as much as the age of 32 years, as at 1 January 2027, from WTO Members with low or no skilled illustration within the WTO Secretariat, to reinforce their information of WTO and expertise in worldwide commerce points.  The Programme goals to widen the pool of execs from these WTO Members, with the final word objective of broadening their illustration within the WTO and/or different regional and worldwide organizations.

General Functions

Requirements

Education:

Advanced college diploma in economics, econometrics, worldwide relations, legislation, surroundings research, or different trade-related topics related to the work of the WTO (e.g. worldwide funding legislation, commerce and gender, and so forth.). Applicants will need to have obtained their superior college diploma by the point they submit their application.

Knowledge and Skills:

General information of the work of the WTO.

Technical information in a number of of the areas of labor indicated above.

Good drafting expertise in English. Ability to draft in French and/or Spanish could be a bonus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a crew, in a multicultural surroundings.

Demonstrated sturdy curiosity in worldwide commerce and the multilateral buying and selling system.

Work Experience:

Minimum two (2) years {of professional} expertise related to the work of the WTO.

Languages:

Fluency in English. An excellent working information of both French or Spanish could be a bonus.
