Applications are actually open for the 2027 German Bundestag International Parliamentary Scholarships (IPS) . The German Parliament invites politically and socially dedicated young graduates from Southern Africa (Botswana, Namibia, South Africa), East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda), and West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal) to Berlin in January for a scholarship programme.

Since 2020, the German Bundestag has provided a scholarship programme below the patronage of the President of the Bundestag for young graduates from sub-Saharan Africa who need to be taught extra concerning the German parliamentary system and who need to play an lively and accountable function in shaping the democratic way forward for their international locations.

The programme
