Applications are open for the BFN Black Career Advancement Program (BCAP) 2026. The Black Founders Network (BFN) Black Career Advancement Program (BCAP) offers tailor-made employment readiness help to equip Black youth with the required expertise and information for varied profession pathways and fill hiring gaps going through the Black-led firms within the ecosystem.

In addition to serving to Black youth construct their expertise and safe tailor-made work placements, Black-led firms additionally profit from reasonably priced expertise via the BCAP hiring grants. Since the BCAP was launched in 2022, 2000+ Black youth have been skilled and 120+ work placements have been supplied immediately. Participants are supported via the BFN job board and BFN expertise community.

This program is delivered in partnership with the Federation of Black Canadians and is supported, in part, by the Ministry of Citizenship & Multiculturalism and their Black Youth Action Plan (BYAP) which works in direction of eliminating systemic, race-primarily based disparities by rising alternatives for Black youth throughout the province.

Eligibility

• Be between 18 and 35 years previous
• Identify as Black or of African descent
• Be legally approved to work in Canada
• Have fundamental laptop literacy and a robust willingness to study
• Be capable of commit 10–15 hours per week for the total 12 weeks
• Be prepared to indicate up, develop, and construct one thing nice
