About the Internship

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature critiques on political, vitality, and important minerals developments in Latin America
  • Collect, analyse, and summarise information on:
    • Critical minerals and clear vitality provide chains
    • End-use sector decarbonisation (trade, transport, buildings)
    • Low-carbon hydrogen
    • Regional energy system integration
    • People-centred clear vitality transitions
  • Support the preparation of briefing notes, analytical paperwork, and background supplies
  • Draft content material in English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Assist in organising digital and in-person conferences, workshops, and conferences
  • Support preparations for the IEA Ministerial Meeting (February 2026)
  • Contribute to programme implementation and stakeholder coordination
  • Support every day logistics, together with contact administration and communications

Candidate Profile

  • Current Master’s or PhD pupil in a related subject (e.g. vitality, engineering, worldwide relations, environmental coverage, improvement research)
  • Student standing maintained all through the internship
  • Excellent drafting abilities in English and Spanish or Portuguese
  • Strong organisational abilities and talent to work independently
  • Experience engaged on Latin America–associated vitality subjects
  • Knowledge of the vitality sector and/or crucial minerals
  • Ability to work successfully in multicultural, team-oriented environments
  • Citizenship of an OECD Member Country (advantageous, not obligatory)

Duration & Conditions

  • Duration: Preferred 10–11 months (minimal 6 months)
  • Location: In individual, Paris, France (non-negotiable)
  • Stipend: €1,000 per full month (OECD internship contribution)
