Applications are actually open for the 2026 Africa-CDC/Kofi Annan Fellowship in Global Health Leadership Programme. The Fellowship helps aspirational public health leaders in Africa to amass superior abilities to strategize, handle and lead public health programmes that may rework public health on the continent. Fellows admitted will lead and contribute to the implementation of the Africa’s Health Security and Sovereignty Agenda and the brand new public health order for Africa and assist form the subsequent technology of leaders.

Since its launch, the fellowship has graduated 84 Fellows from over 34 African international locations, with many now main transformative initiatives, authoring books, creating cross-border partnerships, and one even serving as a Minister of Government.

Requirements

Senior public health professionals from AU Member States with backgrounds in One Health, human drugs, sexual & reproductive health, public psychological health, animal health, finance, health coverage, epidemiology, and associated fields.

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizen of an African Union Member State.
• Postgraduate diploma in a public health associated subject.
• 10+ years skilled expertise after Master’s diploma.
• Full-time employment in a public or personal health establishment.
• Demonstrated or potential management capability.

Fellowship Selection
