Specifics of the Award
Prizes awarded for entries in the fall of 2024 will comprise the following:
- The entire amount owed for tuition
- a 3.5-year maintenance stipend paid at the current UKRI rate
- The term of support will be shortened if you apply while you are already enrolled in your first year of study.
- £5,000 in Research, Training, and Supporting Grants (RTSG).
Qualifications
Candidates need to:
- Apply to the University of Warwick for a PhD program starting in October 2024; or
- Be enrolled in the University of Warwick’s PhD or MPhil/PhD program for the first year; in order to be eligible, you must be enrolled in the program within the first 12 months of October 2024; for fee purposes, you must be considered “overseas.” There are no more nationality requirements; applicants may be from any Warwick discipline.
- Scholarships are non-transferable to the following academic year.
Deadline to apply for courses: December 12, 2023, 23:59 (GMT)
Deadline to apply for scholarships: December 14, 2023, 23:59 (GMT)
Deadline for supporting documents: January 9, 2024, 23:59 (GMT)
How to Apply
Since it is typically not feasible to finish and submit an application in less than 36 hours, we strongly advise preparing applications well in advance.
Examine the PGR Ranking Criteria and the Applicant Guidance Notes.
- Send in your application for the course along with any supporting files.
- Get a 7-digit applicant ID number via automated email. Kindly give this at least 48 hours to arrive.
- Create an application account with ITS.
- Make sure to submit your scholarship application by the deadline. We apologize if, for any reason, we are unable to accept applications that are submitted beyond the deadline.
- Send in your supporting documentation by the deadline. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our inability to accept supporting documentation that is received after the deadline.
- By the beginning of March 2024, the Chancellor’s International Scholarship recipients will get an email with their results.
Note that applications are currently being accepted for entrance in 2024–2025.
