For the Digital Skills for Women+ Program 2023, applications are now being accepted. The Digital Skills for Women+ learning program was developed by women who have first-hand knowledge of the obstacles facing women+ in technology. Women+ without prior industry experience can benefit from this free cohort by learning more about industry-related subjects, the ecosystem, and job opportunities. Its goal is to give participants the self-assurance they need, teach them the language of the industry, and help them become better prepared to research and pursue careers in technology.

Over the course of 12 weeks, each cohort comprises of six three-hour virtual sessions. Depending on the cohort members and their application feedback, each cohort’s curriculum will vary slightly, but potential topics include:
- Internet marketing plan
- using social media
- SEO
- Privacy in content marketing
- Blockchain UI/UX Research
- Databases for cybersecurity
- Website tactics
Eligibility
Open to anyone with underrepresented gender identities in the tech sector (such as women, transgender, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people), who have no prior experience in the field but are curious about its issues, ecosystem, and job potential.
Program Calendar
Each cohort has six sessions, and there are two group times available: Saturday mornings or Thursday evenings. These meetings will last three hours. Please carefully review the dates listed below since attendance is required.
