Refugees International (RI) will host interns for eight to ten weeks in the summer of 2023. Students enrolled in an accredited university are given the opportunity to work closely with advocates to conduct research on significant refugee, displacement, humanitarian, and human rights issues that require immediate attention and action in exchange for a stipend of $4,000 to cover living and other personal expenses. The RI Scholarship Fund promotes applications from members of historically underrepresented groups in order to foster a professional community that reflects the wide range of skills possessed by individuals with various life experiences and backgrounds.

If you’re interested, you should match the requirements listed below:
- be enrolled as a graduate or undergraduate student, or have recently graduated;
- being in search of an internship as a part of their educational experience for the program they are enrolled in;
- Unless otherwise agreed upon and approved by their supervisor, be willing to intern for the suggested 250 hours during the length of the internship between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm EST;
- possess a keen interest in global refugee and humanitarian issues;
- possess particular abilities or in-depth knowledge as they relate to particular positions.
