Call for Applications for 2023 Youth Innovation Grant | Deadline November 1, 2023
The purpose of Special Olympics is to give children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round access to sports instruction and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports, as well as ongoing opportunities for them to improve their physical fitness, show bravery, feel joy, and engage in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, fellow Special Olympics athletes, and the community.

About the Grant
An initiative created, organized, and carried out by youth leaders. With the goal of fostering inclusion in their communities is known as a youth innovation project.
Twice a year, Special Olympics gives project-based grants to Young Leaders. This is all over the world in the amounts of $500, $1,000, $2,000, or $2,000 USD.
Projects for Youth Leaders must be finished in either 6 or 9 months.
Eligibility for Call for Applications for 2023 Youth Innovation Grant
Unified Pairs of Special Olympics Youth Leaders, which are made up of a Youth Leader with ID and a Youth Leader without ID. Young leaders must all be:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 25 and be supported by a Special Olympics program that has been accredited.
- Before completing your application, you must get in touch with your local Special Olympics Program if you are not currently a member.
