The grant-making period for the Resilience Fund 2023 is now open. Deadline: 15 March 2023| Resilience Fund for Mama Cash 2023 (Grant €5,000 to €50,000)
From 15 February to 15 March 2023, at 11:59 p.m. CET. Mama Cash accepts letters of interest from applicants who are not already grantee-partners. Applying organizations will hear back from Mama Cash by June 30, 2023, letting them know whether or not their request has advanced to the final stages of consideration by the COM COM, our participatory grantmaking body.

· We suggest that organizations that desire to apply carefully assess the Mama Cash selection standards and priority.
· Without regard to theme or location, we will accept all submissions from self-led feminist organizations and initiatives within the Resilience Fund LOI timeframe.
Due to the fact that Mama Cash is a completely participatory grantmaker, the decision-making process for all of our new grants has been delegated from our team to the communities we partner with. Following is our multi-step participatory process for the Resilience Fund:
Our community representative committee, reviews a longlist of the top applications to discuss, deliberate, and make the final decisions on who our new grantee-partners will be. All applicants will provide input and guidance on thematic issues they believe should be prioritize for funding. Staff screen all applications for eligibility. What we Fund
The Mama Cash Resilience Fund’s eligibility requirements
Mama Cash backs organizations and projects that:
1. Focus on the rights of feminists, women, girls, transgender people, and/or intersex people;
2. Led by the women, girls, transgender, or intersex clients they support;
3. Make the advancement of the human rights of women, girls, transgender, and/or intersex individuals their core objective, rather than just the subject of some of its programs;
4. promote fundamental and systemic change;
5. Pay attention to topics that are disputed or insufficiently handled;
Focus and priorities of Mama Cash
- Mama cash Funds ANYWHERE in the world.
- We have come to discover that, despite vastly differing contexts, some specific problems of women, girls, transgender individuals, and intersex persons are frequently ignored and/or contested in most civilizations (and social movements).
- Mama Cash gives priority to organizations or projects with a yearly budget of under 200.000 euros.
- Financial support for larger groups is not a priority for Mama Cash. As a result, there are very few organizations among our grantee-partners in the thematic portfolios that have yearly budgets exceeding 200.000 euros.
