What the Fund is;
This first-of-its-kind yearly competition, which was established by the AIM-HI Accelerator Fund (AIM-HI) in 2020, empowers female cancer scientist-entrepreneurs by offering:
- AIM-HI and co-investors will offer competitive chances to bid for investments totaling up to $1 million;
- An interactive platform where top-tier business executives, investors, and members of the life sciences industry can provide insightful comments and criticism;
- Access to the invaluable global network and ecology of AIM-HI continuously.
Eligibility
- Applications are accepted from women-led cancer startups looking for pre-seed, seed, and series A funding.
- A woman in senior leadership with an equity stake in the business is required;
- she could be the founder or a C-level executive.
- The applying company needs to have established technology ownership.
How to Apply
The three components of the online application include
- general information,
- a presentation detailing the business plan,
- and a brief video that is in plain English for a wide audience.
Before the application deadline, each part needs to be finished and submitted. The deadline for submissions is March 15, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
