- For the Young Actuarial Professionals Program. Africa Re is seeking recent graduates and young professionals with exceptional academic achievement in actuarial sciences and other relevant fields from reputable universities (YAPP).
The Young Actuarial Professionals Programme (YAPP) is a two-year, fiercely competitive program. Designed to prepare High Potential, best-in-class, highly qualified, and motivated professionals. For a fruitful and fulfilling career path in the insurance and reinsurance industries.

Eligibility requirements
- Be a citizen of an African Union Member State; hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science or a closely related field; and demonstrate exceptional academic success.
- Candidates must be between the ages of 19 and 28 as of the publication date of this advertisement.
- Candidates must have between 0 and 3 years of appropriate post-qualification job experience in the field of actuarial science.
- Candidates who have completed the necessary CPD points for their selected globally recognized actuarial qualification during a certain time period or who have passed one or more actuarial tests from an internationally recognized actuarial will be given precedence.
- They prefer having a working grasp of the other language, and fluency in either English or French.

- Proficiency with all microsoft office programs, r, python, sql, and any other pertinent programs.
