Call for Applications for the Small Research Grants program by Spencer Foundation
About the Organization
Since 1971, The Spencer Foundation has been a major source of funding for education-related research. It is the only national foundation that only supports this field of study.
We think that education research is crucial to raising educational standards, promoting equity in educational systems. And expanding opportunities for lifelong learning.
Regarding the Grant
We are also open to projects that use a variety of research methods, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, ethnographies, design-based research, participatory methods, and historical research, to name a few. Furthermore, we expect and welcome methodological diversity in addressing pressing questions. We are open to initiatives that might use information from a variety of sources, last a long enough period to acquire a depth of understanding, or collaborate closely with practitioners or community members throughout the project’s lifespan.
