Brief explanation:

 

Through education, TaiwanICDF’s International Higher Education Scholarship Program seeks to help partner developing nations achieve sustainable development. In collaboration with esteemed partner universities in Taiwan, the TaiwanICDF has created undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs and offers scholarships for further education.

Scholarship worth and components:

 

·      Each scholarship recipient receives a full scholarship from the TaiwanICDF, which covers everything from return airfare to housing to tuition and other fees as well as insurance, textbook costs, and a monthly stipend of NT$12,000 for undergraduates, NT$15,000 for master’s students, and NT$17,000 for PhD students.

 

Eligibility:

 

·      Be a citizen of one of the nations listed on the taiwanicdf Scholarship Eligibility List and meet any other requirements imposed by his or her country and/or government of citizenship.

·      Neither be an overseas compatriot student nor a citizen of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

·      Meet the entrance standards of the partner university to which he or she has applied in order to pursue a scholarship from the taiwanicdf.

·      Being able to meet every prerequisite for a resident visa

·      Read through the 2023 TaiwanICDF Scholarship Guidebook’s detailed eligibility requirements.

 

Application guidelines:

 

·      The ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/ Consulate General/Representative Office stationed in your country must receive a signed, printed copy of your application along with all other application materials after you have completed your application using the online application method.

 

·      Candidates should submit any documentation required by the TaiwanICDF partner institutions they are applying to before the admissions deadline of those universities in addition to the ones listed above as part of their scholarship application.

 

·      In general, the annual application period lasts from 1 January to 15 March (for 2023 Scholarship programs, the application period runs from 1 January – 15 March 2023).
