The Macquarie University Vice-International Chancellor’s Scholarship is given to international students to recognize their academic excellence. · The scholarships DO NOT include a living allowance, nor do they cover the cost of obtaining a visa, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), travel expenses, lodging, conferences, or other study-related expenses.
Eligibility:
· You must be a full-time international student beginning an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA courses) and satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for this award.
• Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 65 or an ATAR equivalent of 85 for undergraduate applications or postgraduate applications.
• Start your studies during the session and year specified in your scholarship offer letter.
Application guidelines:
· Candidates must submit a nomination form and have a valid offer letter from Macquarie University in order to be considered for this award.
· Students must provide “VCIS” in the area labeled “Scholarship Name” on an online application form, along with their student identification number from their Macquarie University offer letter.
To avoid disappointment and give yourself enough time to arrange your student visa, it is advisable that you submit your application at least two to three months before the start of the session.
