They offer financial aid, financing for capacity building, and community support through the 9-Month YoungEd Africa Fellowship Program to encourage professional growth across a range of career paths in the education industry.

How It Works

APPLY

  • The applicant submits a YoungEd Scholar or Professional Track application.
  • The application reviewed by the YoungEd Africa Team.
  • Candidates chosen receive letters of selection for the following cohort.

BE REWARDED

  • Selected candidates supply verification documentation so that their Awards can be processed more quickly.
  • Final candidate verification carried out by the YoungEd Africa Team.
  • Selected candidates who have undergone successful verification receive award letters.

GET FUNDED

  • YoungEd Scholars pay their institution’s tuition costs directly.
  • Quarterly payments made to YoungEd Professionals through their virtual wallets.
  • Personal accounts receive no monetary transfers.

TAKE PART & ENGAGE

  • The fellow takes part in their pick of educational or career-development classes.
  • participation in the YoungEd Fellow Community is active (round table discussions, webinars, etc)
  • provides feedback and progress updates on a quarterly basis to help guide future support arrangements.
SUCCEED, GIVE BACK
  • If qualified, the fellow receives a YoungEd Fellowship Certificate upon completion of the YoungEd Africa Fellowship Program.
  • Mentors, volunteers, and actively participates in the expanding YoungEd Fellow Community and other YoungEd Africa Initiatives are some ways that she gives back.

Eligibility

  • Africans between the ages of 16 and 30 enrolled in or considering enrolling in undergraduate or graduate education-related courses in Africa are the target audience for the YoungEd Scholar Program.

Benefit

To make it easier for them to study or conduct research in order to earn a qualification in any area of education, financial and mentoring support offered.
