The International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) Poster Contest 2023 is now accepting submissions. The International Compost Awareness Week Committee organizes a poster competition each year to select a fresh image for the poster.

The topic for the 2023 International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is a genuine global collaboration. The International Compost Alliance (ICA) and they worked up to choose this year’s theme: For Healthier Soil, Healthier Food…Compost! The theme chosen in light of hunger, a severe global problem that, regrettably, affects every country.

Prize
A $500 prize given to the overall winner.
Eligibility
- open to everyone worldwide who is 14 years old or older.
- Each artist allowed to submit only one entry.
Requirements
- One entry per person only
- 12″ wide by 18″ vertical in size (this is in inches)
- The jpg file has a 300 dpi resolution.
- For Healthier Soil, Healthier Food is the theme of the poster.
- Compost!
- The phrase International Compost Awareness Week displayed on a poster.
- May 7–13, 2023, depicted on the poster.
- Don’t add more text to your poster. Only the subject and May 7–13, 2023,permitted for International Compost Awareness Week. Your entry will be instantly disqualified if certain terms are altered or added.
- If your poster includes a photo, ensure you either took the shot yourself or have gotten the necessary permissions.
- Judging Standards
The following criteria will be used to score the contest (a maximum of 40 points).
Marketing appeal of the poster to various audiences: 10 points.
10 points for innovative, imaginative work.
10 points for attractiveness in terms of design and organization.
Overall Impact: 10 points; all graphics are pertinent to the subject and help the viewer understand the poster’s main message.
Application
You must upload your poster together with the online entry form, checklist, and application. Give a brief explanation of your poster concept and state why you decided to enter the ICAW 2023 poster contest.
