The African Union Civic Tech Fund (AUCTF) is a project funded by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) with the goal of evaluating and sustaining effective models of citizen participation and policy influence across the African continent through the use of replicable and/or scalable civic tech initiatives and citizens-led transformative action. – (Civic Tech Fellowship For Grantees’ Support In The African Union Civic Tech Fund is a call for applications
The AUCTF is awarding fellowships to 5 civic tech specialists for a minimum of 3 months to help and advise beneficiaries of the awards in 7 African countries: Mali, Nigeria, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya, and Morocco.
Successful applications will assist a wide spectrum of players in scaling up civic technology initiatives that help citizens voice their opinions or hold governments responsible. Candidates will collaborate with African Civic Tech Fund partner organizations to test, grow, and improve digital technologies and platforms that empower citizens.
The deadline to submit an application is June 15, 2022.
