The EAC Youth Fellowship 2026 for emerging East African Leaders (Fully Funded)

Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 EAC Youth Fellowship. The EAC Youth Fellowship is a prestigious initiative designed to have interaction and empower younger folks in regional integration and management inside the East African Community (EAC). This fellowship goals to harness the potential of youth and promote their lively participation in shaping the way forward for the area. By providing mentorship, capacity-building actions, and networking Opportunities, the EAC Youth Fellowship seeks to nurture the subsequent era of leaders dedicated to regional cooperation and improvement.

Eligibility Requirements

Age

Applicants needs to be between 18-35 years outdated.

Eligible Countries

Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, Burundi, Rwanda, Somalia and The Democratic Republic of Congo

Education

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. Strong demonstrated leadership potential is required. Additional qualifications related to regional integration, leadership, business, economic governance or relevant fields are highly valued.

Fully Funded

The EAC Youth Fellowship is fully funded under the Together for Impact Partnership between the Danida Fellowship Centre and MS TCDC. Fellows may also receive a stipend or allowances to cover their expenses during the fellowship period the details of which will be disclosed to selected participants.
