Applications are open for the NTU AI-for-X Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026. The NTU AI-for-X Postdoctoral Fellowship (AI4X-PDF), collectively supported by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Singapore’s National Research Foundation (NRF), is a prestigious programme designed to draw and empower the world’s brightest early-profession researchers.

This fellowship helps excellent scientists who harness Artificial Intelligence (AI) to speed up breakthroughs throughout science, know-how, engineering, and arithmetic together with drugs (STEM). Through AI4X-PDF, they purpose to domesticate the subsequent era of research leaders working on the intersection of AI and STEM, driving innovation and strengthening Singapore’s AI-for-Science ecosystem. Selected awardees can be co-funded by NRF Postdoctoral Award (NRF-PA) beneath this framework.

Eligibility

• Have a PhD (or equal) conferred inside the previous 3 years (in 2023 or later) in a STEM discipline;
• Strong tutorial and research file;
• A compelling research proposal that clearly integrates AI to unravel a scientific downside;
• Must determine an NTU school member as a Project Mentor;
• Available to start the fellowship by 31 March 2027.

Each chosen Fellow can be paired with:

• A Project Mentor of their research discipline.
• An AI Mentor (assigned or chosen submit-award) to assist AI integration.

• Comprehensive CV (with Scopus Author ID and full publication record)
• Official transcript or Degree Certificate in English (PhD’s diploma)
• Research proposal (max 2 pages, download template)
• Contact info of two referees* (one should be your PhD Supervisor) 
• Top 3 publications (PDFs)
• Mentor’s assist letter (Please connect the letter of assist to the research proposal and add them as a single file within the research proposal part throughout submission)

*Your referees can be contacted by the University to supply their experiences after you submit your application on-line. Ensure that your referees have already agreed to supply their experiences earlier than you submit your application.
