Applications are open for the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Global Unit for Democracy and Human Rights Traineeship Programme 2026. The goal of this traineeship is to assist the work of Global Unit for Democracy and Human Rights whereas offering the trainee with significant studying alternatives and sensible expertise. Responsibilities

• Administrative and Operational Support
  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and organizational duties
  • Support Administration Support with logistics
  • Assist in getting ready experiences and assembly supplies
• Project Support
  • Contribute to implementation and monitoring of venture actions
  • Assist with venture documentation
  • Support coordination with inside and exterior stakeholders
• Research and Analysis
  • Conduct background analysis on matter related to the Unit’s work
  • Gather, analyze and summarize info from numerous sources
  • Prepare briefing notes, summaries, outputs
• Events and Outreach
  • Support the preparation and group of occasions, workshops, conferences, conferences
  • Assist with participant administration, logistics and comply with-up actions
  • Attend related conferences and put together minutes or abstract notes the place required
• Communications
  • Assist with content material preparation for web sites, newsletters and different communication channels

Eligibility

• Candidates should be eligible to work in Belgium;
• Candidates should be out there for a full-time traineeship in Brussels from September to December 2026 beneath Convention d’Immersion Professionelle (CIP);
• Master’s diploma in related discipline, reminiscent of Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Communications, Law, Social Sciences or associated disciplines; 
• This traineeship is meant as an early-profession OPPORTUNITY. Preference can be given to candidates with restricted skilled expertise (together with internships);

• Excellent written and verbal communication expertise in English;

Desired Qualifications

• Previous internship, volunteer, or extracurricular expertise related to our actions
• Knowledge of German, French and/or Dutch
