Applications are open for the WomHub Accelerating African Female Founders to Capital Programme 2026. This is an bold enterprise development and funding readiness programme designed to assist excessive-potential ladies entrepreneurs throughout Southern Africa.

Delivered by WomHub, in partnership with AfricaDevelop Technical Assistance Facility, KfW DEG Impact, and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the programme helps ladies-led companies working throughout the STEM sectors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing) to develop into funding-prepared, scale sustainably, and entry catalytic funding.

The programme is designed for girls entrepreneurs who’re constructing revolutionary, income-producing companies with robust potential for development and impression. Through a mix of professional-led coaching, mentorship, technical help, enterprise diagnostics, and investor engagement, contributors will strengthen their enterprise foundations, improve their development potential, and put together to appeal to funding.

Programme Phases

The programme is delivered in three progressive phases:

• Phase 1: Pipeline Development – Forty-five (45) ladies-led companies will take part in a structured enterprise growth programme centered on strengthening enterprise fundamentals, management, operations, monetary administration, sustainability, and development readiness.
• Phase 2: Investor Readiness – The prime twenty (20) companies will advance to an intensive funding readiness programme overlaying monetary preparedness, due diligence, investor engagement, and pitch refinement.
• Phase 3: Capital Deployment – Businesses that efficiently full the investor readiness journey and due diligence course of will develop into eligible to pitch for catalytic funding, with between 5 (5) and ten (10) companies receiving funding along with ongoing publish-funding assist.

Eligibility

• Must be a feminine founder;
• Participant have to be from throughout Southern Africa – Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe;
• Must be funding prepared;
• Demonstrate a dedication to sustainability of their companies.
