EatOkra is a hub for culinary tradition—a conduit for cooks, creators, entrepreneurs, and company leaders shaping how we collect, eat, and join. The Culinary Creatives Awards is how they’re doubling down on celebrating the visionaries advancing Black foodways, for the second 12 months! More than a highlight, this record is a catalyst for significant group and dialog. By figuring out and showcasing ongoing excellence, they purpose to create lasting pathways to visibility, OPPORTUNITY, and help throughout the trade.

Categories

• Culinary Storyteller Award: Honoring the voices shaping sensible meals narratives, by way of mediums together with writing, images, movie, social media, and different media/artistic channels.
• Culinary Champion Award: Recognizing leaders and advocates who uplift the Black meals group by way of activism, public relations, training, mentorship, and philanthropy.
• Culinary Innovator Award: Celebrating trailblazers pushing boundaries with daring concepts, new strategies, and artistic approaches which can be redefining culinary traditions.

Eligibility

• They search nominees who establish as Black and encourage submissions that replicate range in background, geography, self-discipline, and affect throughout the meals area.
