British Council Springboard Research Grants with France, Germany & Spain 2026 (up to £10,000) – YOA

Applications are open for the British Council Springboard Research Grants with France, Germany & Spain 2026. The grants help collaborative tasks between analysis groups within the UK and France, Germany or Spain. With a concentrate on early-profession researchers, the grants help mobility and collaborative actions, main to joint analysis proposals – notably beneath Horizon Europe – and collaborative publications.

Springboard grants help collaborations between analysis groups involving early-profession researchers, with a view to both submitting joint grant functions and dealing on joint publications. 

Priority will probably be given to tasks aligned with the Horizon Europe thematic areas:

• Health
• Culture, creativity and inclusive society
• Civil safety for society
• Digital, trade and house
• Climate power and mobility
• Food, bio-financial system, pure sources, agriculture and surroundings.

• Grant quantity: up to £10,000

Eligibility

• Open to larger schooling establishments and never-for-revenue analysis establishments.
• Each proposal should embrace: 
  • one lead establishment from the UK
  • one lead establishment from France, Germany or Spain.
• The proposal have to be ready collectively by leaders from all establishments concerned within the challenge however have to be submitted by the UK Lead Institution on behalf of the partnership. 
• Each application can embrace up to a most of ten contributors, with a minimal of six early-profession researchers (those that obtained their PhD lower than ten years in the past).
