Applications are open for the Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC) Youth Policy-Makers Hub 2026-2027. Recognizing the wealth of information, expertise and management that youth deliver to the worldwide cooperation sector, OCIC’s Youth Policy-Makers Hub (YPH) seeks to interact numerous youth from throughout Ontario in worldwide cooperation coverage processes.
Youth members are inspired to critically interact with the buildings, actors, and establishments that form public coverage and world improvement, whereas exploring how world citizenship is enacted by way of civic participation and inclusive coverage processes.
Benefits
Building on the efforts of previous YPH cohorts, this yr’s program will present alternatives to:

Eligibility
- Be between the ages of 18–35 (by July 31, 2026) and residing in Ontario;
- Passionate about gender equality, civic participation, inclusive coverage processes, and worldwide cooperation;
- Eager to develop your advocacy and coverage engagement abilities at native, nationwide, or world ranges.
Expectations
YPH members are anticipated to contribute 2–5 hours per week by taking part in:
- peer-to-peer information alternate by way of ongoing digital ‘Coffee Chats’ (beginning October 2026)
- digital ‘Policy Matters’ studying collection (beginning October 2026), with a concentrate on understanding civic motion for world citizenship
