The Women’s Fellowship on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC) is a regional management and capacity-strengthening programme designed to empower young women throughout the ECOWAS area to advance gender-responsive options to climate-induced human mobility challenges.
Implemented by the Women Environmental Programme (WEP) underneath the GIZ-led Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC) Programme, the fellowship seeks to strengthen women’s participation in local weather and migration coverage processes, assist community-led initiatives, and foster regional collaboration amongst rising women leaders.

Fellowship Structure
Phase 1: Recruitment, Orientation & Capacity Building
Selected fellows will take part in a completely funded coaching workshop masking:

- Policy Engagement and Advocacy
- Leadership and Community Impact
