Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 Germany-CGIAR++ Science-Impact Hub Junior Scientists Program. Germany and the CGIAR & companions share a protracted custom of collaborating in development-oriented agricultural analysis. The Hub goals to additional strengthen this partnership. Through a joint Junior Scientists Program (JSP), the Hub helps and empowers the following technology of impact-oriented researchers, providing hands-on expertise, mentorship and interdisciplinary coaching immediately aligned with world growth objectives such because the SDGs, the Paris Climate Agreement, and different multilateral commitments.

Application Requirements

Enrolment in a M.Sc. program of agricultural sciences or associated diploma (e.g. biology, geography, sociology, veterinary drugs, marine biology, forestry, political sciences, legislation, economics and so on.) at a German college or submit M.Sc. (not enrolled for a PhD).

  • Very good command of the English language. In some nations, information of different languages (e.g. French, Spanish, Arabic) could also be advantageous and even required
  • High diploma of sensitivity in direction of the tradition within the nation of project; staff participant; capability to work beneath strain; willingness to imagine accountability and to work independently
