Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 IACC Young Journalists (YJ) Programme. Transparency International invite younger journalists from throughout the world who’re keen about preventing corruption to apply for the 2026 programme. There is 10 locations obtainable for journalists in the early phases of their skilled profession to be part of us at the International Anti-Corruption Conference in the Dominican Republic from 1-4 December 2026.

As part of a mentored programme members will have the likelihood to be part of the convention discussions, interview leaders and activists and construct their data of the newest tendencies in the anti-corruption house.

The International Anti-Corruption Conference is the world’s premier discussion board for bringing collectively authorities, civil society, the personal sector and extra to sort out the more and more refined challenges posed by corruption. Requirements

Applicants should meet the following standards:

• You should be presently working as a journalist, with demonstrable expertise of reporting on social, political or financial points. Journalists from digital, print, broadcast or multimedia backgrounds are all welcome to apply.
• You should be beneath 35 years previous on 6 December 2026.
• You should be proficient in English.
• You should be keen about preventing corruption and dedicated to studying extra about Transparency International and the points we work on.

Benefits

• The programme consists of an economic system return flight to Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic and 5 nights’ lodging plus breakfast, lunch and dinner at the convention resort (arriving 30 November, departing 5 December 2026). Alcoholic drinks will not be included. Transparency International can even reimburse visa processing prices, agreed prematurely and on submission of receipts. Any different journey prices are members’ duty.

Expectations

• Successful members are anticipated to develop a report linked to the matters from the convention and to independently pitch it to a media outlet. In addition, members will likely be required to adhere to the circumstances set out in a phrases of reference and code of conduct.
