VC University Scholarship Program 2026 – Cohort 23 – YOA

Applications are open for the VC University Scholarship 2026. Since VC University started in 2019, Venture Forward has awarded full scholarships to at the least 10% of every cohort. The VC University scholarship program helps aspiring and early-profession VCs from underrepresented backgrounds.

The scholarship program affords two tracks:

• General Track: For aspiring VCs in non-life science sectors (sector-agnostic)
• Life Science Scholarship (LSS): For aspiring life science VC traders

Scholarship

Scholarship recipients obtain:

• Covered course tuition to VC University
• Access to supplemental workplace hours
• Access to a devoted 3-month mentorship program
• Public recognition for his or her award

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates:

• Must reside within the United States
• Must intend / have the ability to stay within the United States
• Must presently work as a VC investor – OR – actively  pursuing a full-time position as VC
• Must intend to put money into startups primarily based within the United States
• Cannot have beforehand participated in a VC University program
• Cannot be employed by a scholarship sponsor
• Must submit an application by the deadline

Evaluation Criteria

This scholarship is meant to help candidates who:

• Will be lively, engaged program contributors.  
• Are actively / imminently pursuing a profession as a VC investor.
• Are part of a gaggle that’s underrepresented in enterprise capital.
• Would considerably profit from a structured introduction and exploration of technical VC ideas and the trade panorama.
• Are dedicated to driving a stronger, extra inclusive future for the trade.

For the LSS Track:

Application
