Applications are actually open for the 2026 Permanent Court of Arbitration (“PCA”) Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Program on the workplace of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (“PCA”) in Mauritius gives recent law graduates and young legal professionals the chance to work at a world arbitration establishment for one 12 months. Over the course of the 12 months, the Fellow will achieve expertise in all of the operations of the PCA’s International Bureau and the PCA Mauritius Office, with an emphasis on each the sensible and legal features of worldwide arbitration. The Fellow will maintain the title of Assistant Legal Counsel.

Requirements

  • A law diploma that qualifies the applicant to apply for bar admission of their home jurisdiction (by examination, traineeship, or in any other case) is a minimal requirement. The program is open to candidates whose {qualifications} exceed this minimal requirement (e.g., superior law diploma candidates and holders, training attorneys, and different legal professionals).
  • Fluency in English is required and working proficiency in French is a bonus. Additional language expertise are a robust benefit, particularly Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish.
  • Specialization in worldwide dispute decision or public worldwide law is an asset.

Benefits

  • The Fellow will obtain a month-to-month stipend. No different remuneration of any type shall be paid.
  • The Fellow will need to have enough medical health insurance for the interval to be eligible.
  • If you’re chosen and you require a journey visa to take up the Fellowship, the PCA will present documentation in help of your application.

Dates

  • Applications should be submitted by Tuesday, 30 June 2026.
  • The Fellowship will begin on Monday, 14 September 2026.
