Applications are open for the Digital Opportunity Trust Kenya (DOT Kenya) CISCO Climate Champions Program 2026. As a Climate Champion, you may be on the forefront of delivering environmental training and consciousness initiatives inside communities throughout Nairobi and its surrounding areas. Working carefully with DOT Kenya’s workforce, you’ll interact native youth in local weather motion actions, selling sustainable practices and constructing resilience to local weather change. This quick-time period function provides an thrilling alternative to assist neighborhood-led environmental options whereas strengthening native capacities for local weather adaptation and sustainability. 

Responsibilities

As a DOT Climate Champion, you’ll:

• Complete a 4-week hybrid coaching programme, comprising three weeks of digital classes and one week of in-individual coaching, commencing June 2026.
• Conduct baseline surveys & neighborhood coaching
• Mobilize and coach neighborhood members
• Form and lead a 7-9 individual Participatory Action Research (PAR) working group 
• Gather neighborhood insights through participatory strategies 
• Co-design and implement native local weather options
• Present the answer and share studying outcomes 
• Submit reviews and interact in steady enchancment processes 
• Engage and collaborate with like minded local weather leaders and organizations globally, together with participation in digital discussions and calls
• Strengthen social media and digital advocacy expertise to successfully promote local weather options

Eligibility

• Open to passionate younger ladies and men from Nairobi, Kenya.
