Applications are open for the Global Resilience Partnership Innovation Challenge 2026. They are launching an Innovation Challenge name to assist daring, domestically led options that strengthen resilience, defend ecosystems, and create sustainable alternatives for communities.

They are in search of transformative resilience options throughout three thematic Challenges. They encourage daring and transformative concepts that promote resilience, protect ecosystems, and create sustainable financial alternatives for communities. 

This name for proposals has been developed with assist from Trafigura Foundation, Shockwave Foundation, and Munich Re Foundation. Additionally, they’re working in collaboration with the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) and the SEACAR alliance on the decision.

Thematic Areas

• The Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) Rural Challenge identifies and scales modern nature-constructive options that ship each ecological and livelihood advantages. While they’re taking RAIN international, devoted funding has been earmarked for East African international locations.
• The Resilience Innovation in Informality by means of Scaling Entrepreneurship (RISE) Urban Challenge identifies and scales sensible, domestically led options from grassroots teams, city begin-ups, and/or social enterprises that deal with the realities of residing and dealing in casual city environments.

They have earmarked funding for TECH4Nature options, with a selected curiosity in options from South East Asia.

Benefits

• The Challenge winners will obtain a programme of tailor-made mentoring, communications and MEL assist and might be related to potential companions and/or traders. Eligibility

• All three thematic challenges are open to ODA-eligible international locations within the Global South.
