Global Resilience Partnership Innovation Challenge 2026 (US$50,000 in funding) – Opportunities For Africans

Applications are actually open for the 2026 Global Resilience Partnership Innovation Challenge,  an Innovation Challenge name to assist daring, regionally led options that strengthen resilience, defend ecosystems, and create sustainable Opportunities for communities.

The thematic challenges

Across all three challenges, we’re accepting proposals from each non- and for-profit organisations, native entrepreneurs, and innovators. Both skilled implementers in addition to rising entrepreneurs implementing are inspired to apply. All three thematic challenges  prioritise regionally led improvements that construct the resilience of ladies and youth (>50% of individuals supported needs to be ladies or youth). 

All three thematic challenges are open to ODA-eligible countries in the Global South:

The Technology for Evolving Challenges in Humanitarian Contexts (TECH)4Resilience Challenge identifies purposes of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that may improve or optimise the supply and provision of humanitarian preparedness and response programmes, enabling sooner, extra focused, and anticipatory motion. We have earmarked funding for TECH4Nature options, with a selected curiosity in options from South East Asia.

The Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) Rural Challenge identifies and scales modern nature-positive options that ship each ecological and livelihood advantages. While we’re taking RAIN world,  devoted funding has been earmarked for East African nations.

The Resilience Innovation in Informality by Scaling Entrepreneurship (RISE) Urban Challenge identifies and scales sensible, regionally led options from grassroots teams, city start-ups, and/or social enterprises that deal with the realities of residing and dealing in casual city environments.
