Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 AUDA-NEPAD’s Home Grown Solutions Accelerator Programme. The Home Grown Solutions (HGS) Accelerator is an initiative of the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD), supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the official improvement help company of the Government of Japan. The Accelerator operates consistent with the African Union’s Energize Africa Initiative and Agenda 2063 aspirations.

2. Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare Products
3. Digital Health & Health Technology
4. Maternal, Newborn & Child Health
5. Disease Prevention & Management
6. Health Workforce & Training
7. Health Supply Chain & Logistics

Climate-focused ventures driving climate resilience throughout 4 sub-sectors:

Energy & Power – Ventures targeted on growing entry to and use of unpolluted and inexpensive vitality throughout Africa together with:

1. Decentralized vitality methods similar to off-grid photo voltaic, mini-grids, battery storage and inexperienced hydrogen
2. Innovative entry and use fashions similar to pay-as-you-go (PAYGO) clear vitality options and waste-based clear cooking applied sciences
