Applications are open for the FUNGAI DPI Governance in Africa Fellowship 2026. At FUNGAI Africa, they imagine that how we govern expertise reveals who we’re as societies. Month 1: Foundations & Frameworks

- Comparative analysis design
- Output: Country analysis protocols + stakeholder maps
Month 2: Field Research & Documentation
- Conducting interviews and managing delicate conversations
- Analysing insurance policies, contracts, and laws
- Data administration: transcription, coding, safe storage
- Mid-point peer overview and reflection
- Output: Field notes, transcripts, preliminary findings
Month 3: Analysis & Translation
- Turning knowledge into structured evaluation
- Writing for advocacy: coverage briefs, toolkits, public outputs
- Peer overview and refinement
- Cross-country comparability and synthesis
- Output: Final case study + coverage outputs
Stipend
- There can be stipend of $300/month ($900 whole)
