Applications for the Urban Childcare Innovation Challenge 2026 are actually open. The Urban Childcare Innovation Challenge is a structured incubation initiative designed to establish, strengthen, and scale girls-led and ladies-benefitting childcare enterprises, working in low-revenue city communities throughout India.

Eligibility

• Women-led or girls benefitting (prioritising girls as founders, staff or main customers of service)

Application

The Innovation Challenge is structured throughout 4 sequential phases and is anticipated to run for roughly 5 months in whole. The Urban Childcare Innovation Challenge will run from March to August 2026. The programme begins with the Call for Applications on 16 March 2026, adopted by shortlisting and onboarding of chosen enterprises in April 2026.

The chosen cohort will then take part in a 3-month accelerator and mentorship programme from May to July 2026. The programme will conclude with a Demo Day and Grand Finale on 5 August 2026, the place finalists will current their options to a jury and key ecosystem stakeholders.
