Z Zurich Foundation One Young World Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded to attend the One Young World Summit 2026 in CapeTown, South Africa)

Applications are actually open for the 2026 Z Zurich Foundation One Young World Scholarship. For African younger leaders who’re main initiatives that assist weak or marginalised youth to transition from schooling into sustainable employment or entrepreneurship, significantly in low-income or underserved contexts.

The Z Zurich Foundation Scholarship 2026 will assist 25 younger African leaders engaged on enabling social fairness by means of schooling, employability or entrepreneurship options, to take part in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, from 3 – 6 November. In addition, ZZF students will take part in a curated pre- and post-Summit program designed to assist management development, construct peer networks, and amplify their influence.

Requirements

Candidates should: 

• Be aged 18 – 35 by the date of the One Young World Summit 2026 in November.
• Be nationals of and residents of nations in Africa. 
• Demonstrate influence aligned with the Enabling Social Equity pillar of the Z Zurich Foundation.
• Be main an early-stage initiative that isn’t supported by main company or institutional funders.
• Be main a formally registered entity with a transparent not-for-profit mission and a checking account registered in the organisation’s title. 
• Be serving in a main management function inside the initiative.
• Be dedicated to actively have interaction in and allocate time for the Pre‑Summit Engagement & Preparation Program (September-October) and the Post-Summit Debrief Session (late November), together with reflection and internal improvement actions.
• Be prepared to actively have interaction, collaborate, and contribute to peer studying earlier than, throughout, and after the Summit.

Scholarship Benefits

ZZF Scholars will obtain: 

• Full participation in the One Young World Summit 2026 in Cape Town (3-6 November 2026)
• Hotel lodging in Cape Town between 1 – 6 November (inclusive)
• Return air journey to and from Cape Town
• Catering which incorporates breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Ground transportation between Summit venues in Cape Town.

Additional Arrangement

In addition to the above, the scholarship contains the following curated engagements:

• ZZF Pre‑Summit Engagement & Preparation Program (September-October 2026): a digital program combining private management improvement with sensible preparation for impactful Summit participation, that includes chosen knowledgeable contributions. 
• ZZF Pre-Summit Connection Day (2 November 2026): a full-day, in-person gathering in Cape Town prior to the Summit to foster peer connection, alignment, and engagement with the Z Zurich Foundation.
• Post-Summit Debrief Session (on-line session in late November 2026).
• The alternative to apply for a one-year Post-Summit Fellowship providing holistic capacity-building assist as part of the Z Zurich Foundation’s Global Changemakers Program (a restricted variety of locations will likely be awarded by means of a aggressive choice course of).
