The Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), beneath its Agricultural Reporting and Climate Change Project, invites journalists, editors, and civil society communicators to apply for a two-day digital coaching and story lab on local weather–agricultural reporting.
As local weather change continues to disrupt agricultural methods throughout Nigeria and the broader sub-region via floods, droughts, desertification, pest outbreaks, and meals value volatility, the necessity for correct, data-driven, and solutions-oriented reporting has turn into extra pressing than ever. Agriculture employs a major share of the inhabitants, and smallholder farmers produce an estimated 60–70% of Nigeria’s meals provide, but they continue to be extremely susceptible to local weather shocks.

Application Process
- This name is open to reporters, editors, and media-focused CSOs with expertise in public curiosity reporting.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should:
