Applications are open for the AYuTe Africa Challenge Nigeria 2026. The AYuTe Africa Challenge Nigeria is an enterprise improvement program initiated by Heifer International and applied by Wennovation Hub to establish, nurture, and help progressive, related and know-how-pushed agric-centric enterprises to develop, scale and thrive.

Candidates ought to be early-stage or progress-stage youth-led agritech companies/corporations with progressive options impacting smallholder farmers at scale.

Eligibility

Applicants should:

• Be aged 18-35 by the closing day of submission to the AYuTe Nigeria problem
• Be a youth with progressive concepts specializing in the agriculture sector
• Have concepts which can be confirmed to unravel social issues and are implementable, technically possible, economically sound (inexpensive), and environmentally sensible (eco-pleasant)
• Hold Nigerian nationality with official ID (nationwide id card, worldwide passport, or everlasting voters’ card)
• Produce monetary statements for the enterprise
• Be the founder or co-founding father of the enterprise represented within the competitors and play an energetic position in its operations and management
• Have no felony report associated to corruption, tax evasion, monetary impropriety, felony or different offences
• Have the potential for partnership and collaboration with different actors/stakeholders

The firm will need to have:

• Been registered/included with the related authorities companies in Nigeria
• The skill to scale and influence numerous smallholder farmers, together with recorded proof of demonstrated influence on smallholder farmers’ income and/or operations
• The potential for job creation and poverty discount
• Alignment with related nationwide insurance policies and worldwide treaties (e.g., SDGs)
• An identifiable technological innovation that addresses the next issues for smallholder farmers:
  • Smallholder farmer productiveness
  • Smallholder farmer revenue
  • Labour intensiveness of operations
  • Resilience
  • Access to data
  • Strong aggressive benefit

Application

The application interval will run from twenty second January to 14th March 2026. This shall be adopted by the identification of the highest-10 agritech innovators and the second stage will establish the highest-5 agritech innovators. The prime three enterprises shall be awarded money prizes at a pitch and awards ceremony.
