Arts & Culture Trust Nyoloha Scholarship Programme 2026 for Young South Africans – Opportunities For Africans

Applications at the moment are open for the 2026 Arts & Culture Trust Nyoloha Scholarship Programme. The ACT Nyoloha Scholarship Programme is an undergraduate scholarship initiative designed to offer life-changing Opportunities for college leavers to pursue tertiary research within the performing, visible, and digital arts. Through a mix of mentorship, coaching, and stay showcases, members acquire skilled publicity, construct networks, and put together for sustainable careers within the inventive economic system.

The programme is proudly supported by Nedbank, Sun International and MTN South Africa.

Programme Highlights

• Builds an alumni community connecting graduates to Opportunities within the inventive economic system.
• Identifies expertise nationwide by way of auditions and portfolio critiques.
• Provides three months of mentorship and workshops with business leaders.
• Culminates in a visible arts exhibition and performing arts showcase of finalists’ work.
• Awards two full scholarships yearly (as much as R300,000 every) in Performing Arts and Visual/Digital Arts.

Eligibility

Individuals who’re:

1. Between the ages of 17 – 25 years previous.
2. Currently in Grade 12 OR have college exemption.
3. Need monetary help to pursue a qualification in performing or visible arts as a South African tertiary/accredited establishment, for research commencing in 2027.
4. Not at present registered at a tertiary establishment/accredited establishment for the 2026 educational yr.
5. Do not have an present tertiary qualification in an arts/inventive self-discipline from a South African tertiary/accredited establishment.
6. Not thought of knowledgeable artist – (have specialised coaching/and or employed full time of their creative self-discipline).
7. Not a 2025 ACT Nyoloha Scholarship Programme participant or finalist.
8. Willing and in a position to decide to the 6-month period of the programme.
