NNPC/OANDO JV Tertiary Scholarship Scheme 2026/2027 for young Nigerian Undergraduate students. – Opportunities For Africans

Applications are actually open for the 2026/2027 NNPC OANDO Scholarship. The scholarship, powered by a three way partnership between NNPC Limited and Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed toward strengthening tertiary training throughout Nigeria. 

CATEGORY OF AWARDS

• Host/Transit Communities Merit Award – For candidates strictly from OANDO Host/Transit Communities   
• National Merit Award – For candidates from Non-Host/Transit Communities

ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for consideration, candidates MUST be:  

• Registered FULL TIME undergraduates in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions  
• Certified 100 degree college students at the time of application  

NOTE: The following classes of scholars shouldn’t apply:  

• 200 degree college students and above    
• Current beneficiaries of comparable Awards from different Companies and Agencies    
• Dependants of employees of OANDO PLC and its subsidiaries     

Only indigenes of OANDO Host/Transit Communities in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Imo States SHOULD apply for the Host Communities Merit Award.
Only candidates learning Engineering, Geology, Geosciences and Agricultural Sciences are eligible for the National Merit Award.

NOTE:

• The aptitude check shall be on-line
• Only shortlisted candidates shall be contacted to take part within the aptitude check.
• Applicants with lower than 50% general rating within the aptitude check won’t be thought of
