CcHub-Mastercard Foundation Edtech Fellowship Programme 2026 (Cohort IV) for edtech startups ($100k in equity-free funding)

Applications are actually open for the 2026 CcHub-Mastercard Foundation Edtech Fellowship Programme. CcHUB in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation is asking for purposes for the 4th cohort of the EdTech Fellowship targeted on supporting early-stage innovators growing inclusive, context-relevant options that enhance studying outcomes and develop entry to schooling for underserved learners. Selected innovators will obtain structured assist to strengthen their options, enhance implementation readiness, and develop their attain.

Requirements

This programme is for Edtech Startups who’re:

• Building for Learners Living with Disabilities
• Building Solutions for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), and Underserved or Rural Communities
• Building Solutions for younger women and girls
• Building for National and Subnational Education Data Systems

Eligibility Requirements

Identify in case your startup is the appropriate match for our inclusive schooling cohort in Nigeria. We are wanting for founders constructing the way forward for accessible studying.

Business Registration

• Your startup should be legally included in Nigeria, with bodily presence in Nigeria.

Nigerian Ownership

• The firm should be majority Nigerian-owned.
  

Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

• Be early-stage with both a Prototype (testable construct with proof of early person testing), or an MVP (useful product with verifiable customers)

Inclusion Focus

• Have an inclusive staff, with a dedication to gender steadiness and be constructing an EdTech answer aligned with one in all Cohort 4’s 4 thematic areas.

Program Structure

Phase 1: Incubation part

Startups will endure a 12-month incubation course of with deep technical and implementation assist.

Adopting evidenced-based pedagogical ideas

Human-Centered Design

Inclusive design practices with goal demographics

User Research

Special schooling, gender inclusion, schooling methods, and coverage.

Product Development

Test options in actual contexts and strengthen readiness for adoption.

Phase 2: Post-Incubation part

Following incubation, startups will obtain six months of follow-on assist targeted on development and sustainability.

Go-to-Market Strategy

Distribution & Partnerships

3. Interviews
