WWF Nepal Conservation Award 2026 – YOA

Applications are open for the WWF Nepal Conservation Award 2026. Introduced because the Abraham Conservation Awards by Ms. Nancy Abraham in 1995—an environmentalist struck by the dedication and keenness for conservation displayed by a nationwide park workers—the awards sought to acknowledge exemplary people and organizations working within the subject of conservation.

The award is now acknowledged because the WWF Nepal Conservation Awards, which seeks to proceed this legacy by honoring grassroot conservationists which have made a major contribution to guard Nepal’s wealthy biodiversity.

The awards cowl a variety of themes in conservation and pure useful resource administration and goals to encourage and encourage frontline conservationists. 192 people and establishments have been acknowledged because the inception of the awards.

Awards

• The awardees will obtain citations and money prizes – Rs. 50,000 for people and Rs. 100,000 for organizations.

Eligibility

• Nominations are welcome from Nepali people and/or organizations registered in Nepal and are working within the subject of conservation and pure useful resource administration.
• The nominations might want to mirror illustrious accomplishments and improvements within the areas of biodiversity conservation, local weather change, sustainable growth, environmental training and youth management, environmental crime & air pollution management, and media and journalism in surroundings conservation.
